What does the new message everyone is receiving from WhatsApp mean: "Share a link or QR code..."?

Regardless of your age, your computer skills, and your tastes and preferences, if we had to point to one app that everyone has installed, it would be WhatsApp.
Meta's instant messaging app has more than 30 million registered users in Spain alone , representing around 94% of Spaniards who use the internet.
A big part of the app's success is that it's constantly being updated, offering its users new features and tools to make their experience on the platform the best possible.
Therefore, it's normal to encounter notifications and messages about new features when using the app, and since there are so many, it's difficult to keep track of them all. That's why WhatsApp, through its official chat (which glides between your regular conversations), has now sent a new message promoting a feature that isn't new, but perhaps not everyone is familiar with.
"Quickly invite people to groups.
Share a link or QR code to quickly and easily add members to a group. If you're a group admin, tap the group name in the group chat to select the "Invite via group link" option.
As we increasingly use WhatsApp, not only for individual chats but also for group conversations, Meta has developed easier and faster ways to access new groups. Now, group administrators can invite anyone to join via an invitation link.
To use one of these links, simply open the group and tap on its subject. There, you'll see the Group Invite Link option. Simply copy it and send it to the desired person, either through the Meta app or another method.
The administrator can reset the link to invalidate the previous link and create a new one. Any WhatsApp user can join a group if they have access to the invitation link. Remember that someone can forward the link to others, and they could join the group without the administrator's approval.
